Gail Cook is a successful business woman, mother of 2 young ladies, and an  author.

Her Story:

Gail got her first horse Blondie when she was 12 years old. By 16, her dream of owning a farm was a reality. With a supportive family and lots of hard work, Five Star Ranch opened with 6 horses as a trail riding stable.

Constant learning has always been Gail’s focus. She attended Humber College and attained her Equine Canada Level 1 Western Coaching Certificate, then went on to Seneca College for the Farrier Program.

She then went on to Colorado for the John Lyons Certification.

Next, she continued her training in Equine Canada for her Level 2 Western Coaching Program Certification.

Traveling back to Colorado  for 11 weeks turned into  over a year while Gail continued  her training education with John Lyons.  In 2008 Gail completed the Accreditation Program with Josh Lyons.

Gail’s show history includes multiple club shows where she entered every class she could, including both English and Western. Many high point year end awards were earned – but most importantly she achieved many personal bests and improvements with the horses that were being shown.

In 2000 Gail started showing Reining. Earning High Point Green Horse, High Point Ladies Res, and High Point Guildings over several years.

In 2006 Gail completed her Registered Holistic Nutritionist Designation (for humans!) and began to help people to become healthier through nutrition.

Gail has been blessed with 2 beautiful children – Ashley and Caitlyn – who are teaching her how to create balance in her life.

Currently, Gail has recently become an author of a book called, “The Lemonade Stand Millionaire“.
